How Long Does it Take to Recover from Breast Augmentation Surgery?
Conveniently located to serve The Woodlands, Houston, and Shenandoah
The surgery will normally take 3 to 4 hours with general anesthesia. Many patients will spend the night in the hospital although going home after a few hours is usually fine. Recovery time is normally two weeks before patient can go back to work, and four to six weeks before patient can go back to the gym.
It is important to remember that breast augmentation surgery is exactly that, surgery. We understand that you want to get back to your normal life as soon as possible. That means getting back to work, spending time with your family, and of course your routine exercise. It is important to give your body time to heal and adjust to the changes that have been made with the breast augmentation surgery. Allowing your body proper time to heal is the safest and best option to ensure that you will get the results that you desire from your breast augmentation surgery.
Our experienced and trained staff are available to answer any questions you might have pre-or post op. Please feel free to contact us directly if you have any questions and we will be happy to answer them as quickly as possible.
